Most existing burn buildings are damaged.  A few are so unsafe they need to be condemned.  Can you tell when you have a significant problem?  Most fire department personnel cannot.

As your community grows, do you know if you can upgrade your burn building to meet the new training needs?

We can provide you with the answers to these and other questions by evaluating your burn building (see "Services" button just above this text).  We are fully qualified and equipped to perform burn building surveys and testing.  Having surveyed over 70 existing burn buildings in over a dozen states, we know what to ask, what to look for, what to test, and what to recommend.

NFPA 1403 requires annual structural integrity surveys by a P.E. at all burn buildings.  Our basic survey will keep you in conformance with this standard, reduce your liability, and help you maintain a safer training environment.

(In photograph above, peeling steel roof deck created structural safety problem.  Structure was condemned and replaced with new burn building.)
