Douglas N. Elliott, P.E.

Mr. Elliott co-founded EL&A in 1999 through the reorganization of FDE Ltd.  He serves as President of EL&A, having been a Principal of FDE since 1968 and the President since 1979.

Mr. Elliott has designed or been the structural Principal-in-Charge of more than 2,000 projects.  His experience includes a balance of new structure design and designs related to existing building structures, many of which are historically significant.  Projects have included all of the currently used structural systems, have been as high as 24 stories, had floor areas up to 1,000,000 SF, and construction values up to $150 million.
